Havre de Grace, MD

Voted best small town of America at least once, Havre de Grace is a phenomenal little town that quickly grew in charm for me the longer I explored. During holidays it would seem as if this town came straight out of a Hallmark movie.

Full of charm, local entrepreneurs, the arts, events, night life, and history, this town is a superb destination spot with a growing draw for those looking to settle down. It is located right on Route. 40 and near Interstate 95. It has many places worth visiting and I have been meticulously documenting the place. It is impossible to grasp the spirit of Havre de Grace in a single visitation. It has so much more to offer than a single day on the town.

Outside of local eateries, venues, and shops, this town is one of Marylands designated Art’s and Entertainment districts. This is great news for the creative scene! It means that there are extra benefits and tax advantages for the related and designated arts and entertainment. Photographers, musicians, craftsmen, movie production, live events and more! Take the time to look into Marylands laws regarding this!

Have de Grace used to be a town would simply pass through on my way to the bigger cities and towns. However I have found in the last year that it has become a main destination for me and my family. From the food to the galleries it has quickly become an in disposable part of the every day with aim to set up base in this beautiful town.

The scene is very diverse with a plethora of different subcultures right along with a very well established historical preservation and footprint. If you ever get a chance to visit the small town charm of Havre de Grace make sure you visit the local venues and tourist destinations and grab a drink or snack downtown!
